Montgomery brings new industry expertise and operational experience to further grow consultancy

SAN RAMON, CALIF. –JULY19, 2007. Global Inventures, Inc., a leading consultancy and management company for industry alliances today announced that John Montgomery has joined Global Inventures as the company’s first chief operating officer(COO). He will be responsible for optimizing all elements of the business, adding new services and growing the consultancy’s strong client roster.

Montgomery was chief financial officer (CFO) of SynchroNet Marine Inc., a Norwegian financed global data based trading infrastructure for worldwide repositioning of cargo containers. Montgomery was CFO/COO for APTAS (now Local Matters, Inc.), an application services provider to online directories and portals. He also served as CFO and vice president for PrimeOne TeleTV, which was sold to WorldCom. John began his career with Pacific Bell in various capacities before becoming executive director of business planning, financial management for Pacific Bell Video Services, which he helped take private as PrimeOne TeleTV.

John received his MBA in Finance and his BA in International Business and Asian Studies from Brigham Young University. He received his JD from John F. Kennedy School of Law, specializing in multi-media law.
